Read carefully — by checking the box at reservation and completing payment, you agree to these terms.
Parties: This agreement is between Rent A Raven ("Lessor") and the customer named at reservation ("Lessee").
Lessor rents to Lessee one 19-foot electric scissor lift ("Equipment") for the rental period stated at reservation. Equipment remains the property of Lessor at all times.
Weekly rate: $400.00. Delivery: $100.00 (waived within 60 miles of Phelan, CA 92371; $1/mile beyond). Extended days are prorated at 1/7 of the weekly rate. Late return without notice is billed per additional day.
Lessor delivers and picks up the Equipment. Lessee must provide clear access and a safe, level location. Lessor is not responsible for delays beyond control (weather, road closures).
Lessee agrees to operate the Equipment in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and all applicable laws, including OSHA fall-protection rules. Only trained, authorized operators may use the Equipment. Lessee must inspect the Equipment before use and report any damage immediately.
Lessee is responsible for all damage to the Equipment during the rental period, except normal wear. Lessee is liable for replacement/repair costs for damage caused by misuse, abuse, or unauthorized operation. Lessee agrees to indemnify Lessor against claims arising from Lessee's use of the Equipment. Lessor's liability is limited to the rental fees paid.
Lessee should carry insurance covering rented equipment. Lessor's insurance does not cover Lessee's operations.
Lessor may terminate this agreement and reclaim the Equipment upon breach. Lessee may cancel with notice; deposits are refundable per Lessor's stated policy.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute shall be resolved in San Bernardino County, California.
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and may only be amended in writing.
